The sun has disappeared, but the house is only just beginning to glow.
At the entrance, a freshly made rangoli stretches across the floor, its colours catching the light of the diyas placed around it. Jasmine fills the evening air, mingling with the golden scent of marigold and the brightness of freshly peeled orange. Somewhere beneath the flowers is something deeper—the rich, velvety warmth of oud—while rose adds a soft touch to the background.
Inside, voices and laughter drift from room to room. Outside, the lights continue to sparkle.
Rangoli Nights captures that magical part of Diwali when the celebrations are in full swing and the night feels almost luminous.
